
The SAT I Reasoning test is essential in measuring your academic success in
college. The exam takes the materials and concepts that you have learned in high
school and tests your ability to critically analyze the elements.
This is
a mandatory exam required for entrance into ALL 4 year universities in
California!
The SAT I tests on 3 subjects including:
Critical Reading
Math
Writing & Grammar
SAT I Format (shorten the format)
1. 25 min. Timed Essay
2. two sections of 25 min. Crittical Reading
3. two sections of 25 min. Mathematics
4. one section of 10 min. Critical reading
5. one section of 10 min. Mathematics
In addition to the nine scored sections, the SAT also includes a tenth section
not scored which is known as the variable or equating section. This portion does
not count against your overall score in the test but is used as a tool to try
out new questions for the future tests.
